I never thought 15 years ago Stampin Up! would have such an amazing impact on my life. I was a mom with two young children and a TON of pictures. I decided I needed to scrapbook them instead of placing them in plain photo albums. A co-worker at my job showed me a catalog with a bunch of stamping supplies and I had no idea what to make of it. I held a workshop and I was instantly hooked. My friends encouraged me to sign up and I'm thrilled I did. The friendships I have made have taught me to be a better person.
Each week I hold classes at my home. My 3 boys love having everyone here. My customers have become their friends as well. I could not imagine what my life would be like without creating projects for my friends. I love when they come back and bring their own creations to show me.
In March 2009, I attended my first incentive trip. My husband and I went to Hawaii! It wouldn't of been remotely possible without the help from my customers. Since then I have been to California, Thailand and Alaska. Next summer, Brian and I will cruise the Greek Isles, all because of Stampin' Up! and my customers!
I encourage everyone to find some craft they love. If you are able to get something positive from it, you will find yourself wanting to do more. It will reflect in your work and in your attitude and you will soon find your circle of friends growing. What could possible be wrong with that?
